We offer high speed wireless internet
access in all of our apartments free of
charge.
It's open access so you
should be able to log straight in. Because the chalet is on 4
levels and constructed of heavily reinforced concrete we have a
base station and 2 repeaters, all have the same SSID.
For best results you should
choose the strongest signal and “lock” your connection. If you
are a PC user and use Windows WZC (Wireless Zero Configuration) to
manage your wireless connection you may have some problems. WZC
does not allow you to “see” all three units and it continually
searches and hops between units with the same SSID according to
signal strength this can lead to an inconsistent connection.
We recommend you install
"WirelessMon" see (http://www.passmark.com/products/wirelessmonitor.htm).
It's free for a 30 day evaluation, then
US$19 (Standard version). It will enable you to select the
strongest signal and "lock on".
